Hi there,

The recession is over, so regular business is demanding a lot of our (playing)time. But none the less we are busy identifying interesting games.

Some games we have on focus are:

7 Wonders, Asara, 20th Century, Vinhos, Troyes, Die Burgen von Burgund, Inca Empire, London

And still looking further. If you happen to run into an interesting tournament game for this years event (2011) post it here.

Keep in mind that this game should be released last Spiel or afterwards and should be available now (not a game which will be released in 5 months time).

What about Navegador or Luna?

I like 7 Wonders a lot, and it's a short game meaning other longer games get a chance as well. Navegador, Troyes, Burgund and Olympos look really great, but i have not tried them yet. Last Essen we tried a beginning of Vinhos, explained by the maker, and it's a real nice game. It might be a long game though, but together with 7 Wonders it might work. If it's too long than Asara is a nice one as well.

Age of Industry is a good game too.

just got a mail from Days of Wonder, Small World Underground is now on Sale.

Maybe a nice game to play :-)

Also ich finde 7 Wonders ist ein sehr gutes Spiel, aber nicht als Turnierspiel geeignet!!
Small World war auch ein super Spiel aber für die Meisterschaften nicht geeignet! In meinem Spiel war das Endergebnis durch grasse Fehleinschätzungen eines Spielers verfälscht!
Daher ist auch das neue Small World nicht für die Europemasters zu empfehlen!!!

So I find 7 Wonders a very good play, but is suited not as a tournament match!!
Small World was also not suitable a really play, however, for the masteries! In my play the final result was falsified by grasse misjudgements of a player!
Hence, the new Small World is also not to be recommended for the Europemasters!!!

All of these games are best at their places but i like 7 wonders the most. :)
