If you run into interesting games for the EC post them here. Please consider the following:

- The game should be suitable for tournament play with 4 players
- The game shoud be a new release (starting from last year Essen)
- Playing time (4 games have to be completed in a single day)

Thanks for the suggestions.

Fresco and Vasco are already in the picture. And they will come on the nomination list if we receive approval of the publisher.

I haven't played Jäger und Sammler yet. So I will dive into the rules. At least the gameplay is rather short which is an advantage.

Hello,

Assyria from Ystari seems to be a good choice.

Rattus is maybe not very challanging but it can be play in 45 minutes.

I like very much Macao from Alea, but it's maybe to long to be play.
( until yet, I din't try the newest Alea game "Glen More" but it can be a good candidate ? )

I should have posted this sooner. We have received approval for Vasco da Game to be put on the nomination list.

We are playtesting Glen More. We tend to have a feeling that there some cards are possible overbalanced in combination with the luck of drawing them (and being the first to claim them).

But we are still playtesting it. If someone else want to throw in his remarks. Please do.

Already a nice list.

I also liked the games Shipyard (though might take to long), Die Tore der Welt and Fabrikmanager

Also promising is Chocolatl, the Gates of Loyang and die Speicherstadt, but i have not play them yet.

Tonago looked promising but after playing it , it seems to be a bit to light for a tournement.

Some suggestions:

- Tinners Trail (it's possible in 60-90 minutes, was also used for dutch competition)

- Race for the Galaxy + expansions (brilliand game, possible in 30-45 minutes, unsure if you allow it --> it's between a card game and a board game imo)

- Games I didn't play yet, but might be worth a look:
-- Dungeon Lords
-- Fabrikmanager

Great suggestions. Until now only 1 game poppped up which has slipped our attention (Jäger und Sammler).

But it is good to hear what your proposals are. Interesting is that you also suggest older games (and even better that we already have played them at the EC or had them on our short list).

Keep up the good work and keep on posting.
